Child Protective Services (CPS)
Referrals to this program are made by the Division of Child Protection and Permanency (DCP&P), formerly the Division of Youth and Family Services. DCP&P contracts with Child Care Resources to assist families are fostering children through DCP&P to find and pay for child care.
Kinship Navigator Child Care Program (KINSHIP)
This programs provides help to people who are raising a relative’s child in their own home. Eligibility is based on income, family size and age.
Post Adoption Child Care (PACC)
Referrals to this program come to Child Care Resources from the Division of Child Protection and Permanency (DCP&P). The child’s adoption must have taken place after January 1, 2005 and is as a result of the child being placed for adoption after being in a foster care arrangement though DCP&P.
Monmouth County Targeted Population (MCTP)
Referrals to this program come to Child Care Resources from the Monmouth County Department of Social Services (MCDSS). Families that are referred to this program are identified as requiring child care for therapeutic reasons (for either the child or adult).
Respite Child Care Program
A contract was initiated in July 2009 with the Monmouth County Office on Aging. This program is intended to provide respite child care service for a relative caregiver(s), 55 years of age or over, raising children less than 18 years of age.
