Child Care Education Coordinator 

Enthusiastic professional to join a dynamic non-profit committed to supporting Monmouth County’s children, families, and the child care workforce.  Individual must have vast knowledge in child development, and skilled at engaging adult learners to facilitate the development of child care as a resource to build healthy communities.  Position requires a strong commitment to working in partnership with community child care providers to strengthen their knowledge and practice through classroom training and on-site teacher technical assistance to support healthy growth and development for all children.  Applicant must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development, Social Sciences, Nursing, Public Health, Education or related field.  Knowledge about pediatric health, care and development including communicable diseases, immunizations, injury prevention, child abuse and neglect, nutrition, and inclusion of children with special needs is also preferred. Familiarity with child care operations and regulations, and knowledge of local human service agencies and organizations is a plus.  Applicant must be able to travel independently to sites, meetings, conferences and training sessions in Monmouth County and throughout New Jersey. Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates are a plus.

Senior Non-Profit Accountant

Child Care Resources of Monmouth County is seeking a motivated professional to join our dynamic nonprofit agency committed to supporting Monmouth County’s children, families, and the child care workforce.  This is a full-time position where the individual will work closely with the Chief Financial Officer in maintaining a sound fiscal management system that includes adequate internal controls and supports the organization in effective delivery of agency programs and services. The position’s responsibilities will include assisting the CFO with the monthly financial closing process, the development of agency budgets, reconciliation of accounts and general ledger analysis, and assisting with expenditure reporting to grantors.

Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in accounting, Management, Business Administration, or other appropriate discipline as well as two years of experience in organizations with multiple funding sources (nonprofit or government contract administration).  Applicants should be familiar with accounting software, have the ability to present financial information effectively, and be able to respond to questions from management.
