Home Inspector and Food Program (CACFP) Coordinator
Enthusiastic professional to join a dynamic non-profit committed to supporting Monmouth County’s children, families and the child care workforce. Individual will conduct inspections and monitoring to in-home providers in accordance with requirements set forth in the contract with Division of Family Development (DFD) and provide technical assistance as needed, as well as refer providers to appropriate Child Care Development staff for enhanced coaching and consultation. Applicant will counsel prospective in-home providers through the process of becoming a registered provider and report back to management monthly. The individual will maintain records and prepare monthly vouchers to be submitted to the Department of Agriculture monthly. A Bachelors Degree in social science, education, child development or related field is required. Applicant must be familiar with family child care operations and regulations and experience in a child care setting is helpful. Comfortable with providing presentations and trainings. Applicant must be able to travel independently to sites, meetings, conferences and training sessions in Monmouth County and throughout New Jersey. Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates are preferred.
